JE SUIS CHARLIE

about

The terrible atrocity that was the the massacre at Charlie Hebdo touches us all ... The only way I could help to heal my troubled mind, was to write a folk song ... I truly hope it does justice to those who were lost and ALL who are affected ... that's everyone!

The spirit of Charlie Hebdo and the joie de vivre, will live forever and hopefully ... So will FREE SPEECH

lyrics

'Je Suis Charlie'

Oh why did we cry
For what we had lost
Or for the people who died
Don't take an eye for an eye

Je Suis Charlie
Oh I'll never die
With my paper and my pencil
I'm still riding high

So don't even try
To get inside our minds
To tell us when to laugh or cry
We'll refuse to die

So if you go to Paris
Look up in the sky
Cos Charlie Hebdo
He's still riding high

Je Suis Charlie
Oh I'll never die
With my paper and my pencil
I'm still riding high

With my paper and pencils
I'm still riding high x4
